◆日本の印象
In spite of some effort on my part to inform myself on the culture of Japan, I think its best to say that I had a less than comprehensive idea of what to expect before moving here, most of my information came from pop culture references and a small handful of books I had read about Japanese society, including the somewhat dated classic 'The Chrysanthemum and the Sword・by noted Anthropologist Ruth Benedict. I wanted to be informed, but also to have an open mind. In this sense I had a somewhat knowledgeable inclination of what Japan was like before moving here. However, in spite of the information from books, and other Japanese people I knew in America, I was totally surprised
◆日本で行ってみたい場所
I'd like to visit Akita. It seems like a beautiful place
◆好きな(嫌いな)日本食
I think I like most Japanese food, but I especially like grilled Saba I really don't like anything that is 'neba-neba',・for example natto or tororo, or shiokara
◆英語学習する生徒さんへの一言
I would say that one of the most important things to remember is to not worry about making mistakes, and to remember to relax and enjoy yourself while learning. On a slightly more technical side I always recommend reading in English as much as possible

Don't be afraid about saying whatever you want to say, even if you are not sure if it's correct or not. People learn from their own mistakes.

Speak without fear. Once you start talking , it is much easier. It is ok if you make mistakes, the important thing is to speak.
